As Founder and General Manager, Ted brings more than 30 years of construction and real estate experience to Lake Martin Builders. His extensive background spans residential and commercial construction, real estate development, and property investment, giving him a well-rounded perspective on every aspect of the building process.
Ted leads the company with a hands-on approach, providing guidance and oversight across projects while drawing on decades of experience to navigate the challenges that come with construction and development. Since founding Lake Martin Builders in 2017, he has built the company around a commitment to quality craftsmanship, lasting relationships, and a simple philosophy that continues to guide the team today: we build homes like they’re our own.
Ashley Watts Rowe
President
As President and Director of Operations, Ashley oversees company operations, project coordination, and the overall client experience at Lake Martin Builders. A licensed homebuilder and fourth-generation builder, she brings a lifelong connection to the construction industry along with a strong background in business and operations.
After beginning her career in the forest products industry, Ashley joined Lake Martin Builders in 2020 to help grow the company and strengthen its operations. Today, she works closely with clients and the construction team throughout the building process, coordinating communication, selections, budgets, and project details from planning through completion. Her focus on organization, communication, and creating a positive client experience helps ensure each project reflects the quality and attention to detail Lake Martin Builders is known for.
Don Williams
Foreman
As Foreman, Don oversees the day-to-day field operations of our speculative construction projects. He is responsible for maintaining construction quality, coordinating job-site activities, solving field issues, and ensuring each project stays on track. With a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail, Don helps ensure every home is built to the high standards we expect at Lake Martin Builders.
Ben Watts
Project Manager
As Project Manager, Ben oversees the planning and execution of our custom home projects from pre-construction through completion. A fourth-generation builder, Ben is following in the footsteps of his dad and grandad, carrying on a family tradition of building and craftsmanship.
Ben’s exposure to homebuilding started early—as a general laborer on jobsites at an age his father is still not willing to disclose. That early experience gave him a hands-on understanding of construction that continues to shape the way he manages projects today. Ben coordinates subcontractors, schedules, materials, and day-to-day construction activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship. He works closely with clients throughout the building process to ensure clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, and a finished home that reflects the standards of Lake Martin Builders.
